Ipswich is a city with rich choral, dance, eisteddfod and performing arts traditions. With a diverse base of performers and multicultural activities, Ipswich City Council proudly provides opportunities and support for organisations and individuals to develop skills, participation and audience appreciation.

Cultural Services include the Ipswich Civic Hall theatre space; Festival of Theatre program, Cultural Grants, Young Performing Artist Bursaries, Bursaries to attend Master Classes and a range of services aimed at supporting the cultural life of Ipswich.
